Soft Tailoring with Knits Class with Pamela Leggett - Thursday, February 6, 13, 20, 7-9pm ET via Zoom

The Cascade Cardi Blazer is ultra-chic and will polish up any outfit from jeans to business casual. It is unlined and features soft tailoring techniques that give you the look, feel, and fit of a fully tailored blazer – in a fraction of the time needed for traditional tailoring (think Veronica Beard). Subtle shaping and a unique neckline pleat add to the refined silhouette. Image consultant Nancy Nix Rice says it’s a "must have" for your core wardrobe!

Style options will be available so you can personalize your blazer.  Some of these options include:

·         Lapel widths

·         Single or double breasted – or wrap front

·         Inseam or welt pockets

·         Body shaping darts

Learn to work with weft insertion interfacings, stay tapes, shoulder pads you will love (I promise!), perfect dart sewing, buttonholes, and blind hemming. 

Pamela’s Patterns are designed with the most common fit alterations built right in – high round back, forward shoulder, full bust option, extra hip and tummy room, and a great fit in the neck and shoulder. Pamela will help you get the fit you want.

This is a demo class. Watch Pamela during the class time and take the week in between classes to complete your work!

Join Pamela Leggett, a nationally-known sewing teacher and serger expert, in this fun serger class! This is a live, virtual sewing class held on Zoom. You will be able to sew along with Pamela and get real-time help during the class. Don't want to sew along? That's ok! You can watch it live or watch the recording later. Recordings are sent the day after class and are available for one month.
