About Fabric Mart
Whether you’re a fabric enthusiast, beginner sewist, or just getting back into sewing, we’re so glad you are here!
Fabric Mart is a small, family-owned business specializing in deadstock, designer fabric. We have been in business for over 45 years (and counting)!
We’d like to say we were ahead of our time when the business began back in 1977. Robert Richin, our founder, took leftover (or deadstock) fabric from the design rooms and factories in NYC and resold it in one of his seven stores. We pride ourselves in having great relationships with our vendors and that allows us to buy fabric at deep discounts from top designers in NYC, LA and beyond.
Fabric Mart now operates out of its headquarters in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania with both our online fabric store and retail outlet. In-store you will find exclusive discounted fabrics not available online. Add our store to your next road trip. We’re worth the drive!
About the Owners
Today, our second generation is still holding on to the tradition of offering quality fashion fabric at deep discounts and is proud to be a woman owned business.
Julie Brown joined the business in 2008, starting out in the warehouse before taking over the wholesale side of the operation. Today, Julie is the fabric buyer and namesake of the Julie’s Picks Swatch Club. She also plays a role on our social media team and manages the online sewing classes.
Lisa Domeshek joined Fabric Mart as a full-time employee/owner in 2011 but grew up working in the business as her father was Robert’s business partner. Today she is in charge of general operations, human resources and finance.
