Nicks Blouse Sew Along Class - Saturday, September 27, 1-5pm ET via Zoom

Get a jumpstart on your fall wardrobe with the Nicks Blouse from Closet Core Patterns. We will be sewing View C, which is a simple v-neck blouse with delicate gathers at the shoulders and back. Choose between short sleeves or long sleeves with wrist pleats for shaping and an elastic gathered cuff. It’s a great wardrobe builder pattern and can be worn for all four seasons!

In this class, you will learn:

• How to choose the right fabric for the pattern
• Interfacing basics
• Attaching a facing
• Sewing gathers
• The Burrito Method of garment construction
• Sew an elastic casing
• Hemming tricky fabrics

This class is designed for an adventurous beginner, but seasoned sewists are welcome to join too! If the Nicks Blouse has been on your sewing wish list, carve out an afternoon with us and sew up a beautiful blouse just in time for fall. 

**A preliminary video will be sent before class to help get you started. We will be sewing together and you will need to have your pattern and fabric cut and prepared for class. Video will be sent about 2 weeks before class begins.
