Garment Sewing Basics Class with Katrina Walker - Saturday, February 1, 1-4pm ET via Zoom

Let's sew clothes! Garment construction is simply a combination of various sewing techniques - darts, seams, seam finishes, and hems. In this back-to-basics class we'll focus on learning (or reviewing!) these techniques as you practice sewing perfect pucker-free darts, smooth princess seams, simple seam finishes, and easy hems.

This class is perfect for anyone who is new to garment sewing or simply wants to improve their basic skills. Students will create a detailed reference notebook (with pre-written instructions!) for their samples that they can use for future projects.

An e-notebook, supply kit and shipping of the supply kit are included in the cost of the class. (A $20 value.)

Katrina Walker is a nationally-known sewing instructor whose work can be found on media such as Craftsy and Threads Magazine. She specializes in construction techniques, fit, textiles sergers and Modern American Pojagi piecework.

**Can't make it for these dates/times? If these dates don't work for you, we will be recording the session so you can watch on your own time.  The recordings will be available for one month.
