Embroider Like a Designer - A Stitch Talk with Katrina Walker - Wednesday, November 5, 7-8:30 pm ET via Zoom

Join us for a special "Stitch Talk" with Katrina Walker, an expert in high-fashion embroidery and design. Katrina will share her secrets for creating stunning fashion embroidery, including her techniques for taming specialty fabrics like velvet, sequins, leather, and denim for flawless results every time. You’ll also learn essential methods for perfectly placing multi-hooped fashion designs and enjoy a virtual trunk show of Katrina’s beautifully embroidered garments and accessories.

Katrina has been a machine embroiderer for nearly 30 years and is also a skilled digitizer, often working behind the scenes to bring artwork to life through embroidery. Her work has been featured in Threads, Creative Machine Embroidery and more. She has developed multiple online embroidery classes for Craftsy and SewDaily TV and serves as a national educator for Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, and Singer. Her favorite part of teaching is helping sewing enthusiasts turn their creative ideas into reality.
