Lingerie Techniques on a Serger Class with Pamela Leggett - November 16, 7-9pm ET via Zoom

Slips provide an easy way to look smoother under dresses and skirts, but wow, it is difficult to find one in ready-to-wear! Making your own means that it can be customized to the perfect length for you.  Learn how to work with nylon tricot, stretch lace and picot edge lingerie elastic on the serger.  Master using 3-thread serger stitching and flatlock stitching to provide very flat no-show seaming. We will also make a zippered bag that you can put your “unmentionables” in for laundering to keep the delicate fabrics looking like new! 

There will be a kit available for this class through Fabric Mart which will include the pattern, fabric, lace and elastic for the slip, and fabric for the lingerie bag. Kits will be available soon! If you sign up before the kits are available, we will email you to let you know they are in stock. 

This is a demo-style class, so sit back, relax and enjoy the process as Pamela walks you through the design and construction techniques before you dive in and recreate your own blouse.

**We will be recording the session so you can watch on your own time. Recordings will be available for one month.
