Button-up Blouse Design Class with Pamela Leggett - October 21 & 28, 7-9pm ET via Zoom

Take the EveryDay Woven Tee in a whole new direction! In this design-focused class, Pamela will show you how to transform the pattern into a polished button-up blouse or shirt.

We’ll reconfigure the neckline and facings and draft a clean, in-seam button closure for a professional finish. When it comes to sleeves, the choice is yours! Explore the many sleeve options included with the EveryDay Woven Tee and the Sleeves Add-On pattern. Pamela will also show you three easy and stylish faux cuff treatments.

The finishing touch will be covered buttons, and Pamela will show you how to make them like a pro. Choose your fabric and make this shirt your own — from denim, cotton and linen to challis, flannel and pinwale corduroy. With so many fabric and design possibilities, one pattern can become a whole collection of shirts. Pamela is wearing her version in lightweight denim with a gathered sleeve and wide cuff.

This is a demo-style class, so sit back, relax and enjoy the process as Pamela walks you through the design and construction techniques before you dive in and recreate your own blouse.
