Jacquard and Brocade fabric are two different weaves of fabric. They can look similar to the common eye, but they are really quite different. When looking at woven jacquard/brocades, they both have a raised pattern with single-colored threads and multicolored threads. There are also jacquard knits, which basically are double knits with a textured surface. The textured surface can sometimes create a specific design.
