Made by a Fabricista: Wild Prints
Lately I’ve become a big fan of animal prints and I feel like they should be mixed in within every wardrobe. For this look I decided to create a set using this animal print challis. This is a great fabric that I feel is very transitional between seasons. It has both a nice hand and drape; it also doesn’t wrinkle as easily. I was able to pack this for my vacation and not need to do much steaming afterwards.
I decided to make this look as we are now in August, and I felt like it would be the perfect transitional piece.
I wanted an oversized look for the top portion. For this I made the Friday Pattern Company Ilford Jacket. It’s a unisex oversized jacket style that worked perfectly for the look I was trying to achieve. It can be used as a top or a light jacket for the cooler nights.
For my look I paired them with my DIY cage bag and handmade leather sandals that I created. I incorporated a few different animal prints in the way I accessorized.
LOVE this Jasmine! Well made lounge sets work for me working from home for now and I can still step out in it and look cute!
