I have ordered from them for years, because they are a great source for the wools, silks, and linens that I love to sew with. The service is wonderful. Before shipping my last order, they called to confirm whether or not I would be ok with two cuts of fabric, because the last six yards that I had ordered was in two pieces. Other vendors have not been so considerate!

It’s difficult to purchase online because you don't get to examine the hand or weight of the fabric and colors can be quite iffy but I am always surprised and thrilled with the quality of the fabric and the price. They take pains to accurately represent the colour, fibre, and drape of their materials, have incredible customer service, and make high-quality fabrics affordable through their generous sales. As a customer, check back to their website often, as they frequently get limited amounts of deadstock silk taffetas, wool suiting, quality linen, and so forth - you never know what treasures you'll find!

I really love Fabric Mart because they offer deadstock fabrics which is just way better for the environment. Another great thing, as an online buyer, they really provide a lot of helpful details about the stretch, fabric content, suggested uses, etc. This really helps you pick the right fabric for the project you’re making. But the best part is that you can click a button at checkout to buy the matching color thread specific to each fabric you purchase. I need to go to Pennsylvania and shop at the brick-and-mortar location. I can't wait for my order to arrive!
